YOU UNCONSCIOUSLY DEMONIZE OTHER CULTURES. The greatest shortcoming of the American/Western church is the lack of reverence for God and the pride in hearts that leads to judging others. Even if you do not consider yourself judgmental or proud, growing up in the American/Western church can subtly influence these tendencies. Therefore, it is essential to humble yourself and ask God to reveal to you whether you have pride, judgment, or an unhealthy familiarity with Him. "Judge not, lest you be judged. For with the judgment you judge, you will be judged; with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-5 "I tell you, on the day of judgment people will have to give an account for every thoughtless word they speak. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." Matthew 12:36-37
